Apple's iPhoto face recognition causing more trouble for Superman

Part of my job (outside of blogging) is to write about art. I write an art column and just a few months ago (and again last week), I wrote about graphic novels and their increasing popularity in the art world.

I wrote about how Superman and other comic heros are "well defined symbols" that can be used in unique situations to get a message across in a piece of art.

A few weeks ago, we saw that Superman was used in a comic to show how Facebook has changed the world even to the point that superheroes can't even keep their identities secret anymore.

We'll it's happened again. Except this time it's Apple's iPhoto face recognition feature that is causing trouble for Superman.

Below, Apple's Phil Schiller describes Faces and the face recognition feature in 2009.
